Renea Rowland
In 1997, Renea Rowland planted her vision of an insurance agency with a “hometown” feel against the quaint backdrop of Belton, SC. She wanted to offer affordable quotes and build relationships with customers that focused on individual and specific needs. This included a vision that still remains true for the agency today. This approach was so successful that in 2003 Renea opened a second location in Clinton, SC and later opened another location in Anderson, SC. Currently, the agency has grown to nine employees eager to serve your insurance needs on a genuine, personal level. Kathy Borders
HELLO!! My name is Kathy Borders. I’m a long time resident of South Carolina and excited to be a part of the Anderson team. I’ve been with the Renea S Rowland Agency since December of 2013. I’m a Licensed Personal Lines Agent. I was employed with the Montessori School of Anderson for over 25 years. As an ordained minister, I spend many weekends traveling to minister at various churches and conferences. In my spare time, I enjoy performing with my musical son Langdon, singing, preaching, and counseling teen girls and single mothers. I’m an avid sports fan, (UGA ALL DAY) and love to make people laugh.
Hello! My name is Alex Gambrell. I work in the Anderson office as the agency’s Marketing Coordinator. I enjoy servicing our clients and building relationships that flourish the growth of the agency. When I am not working, I am usually spending time with family and friends or taking spontaneous trips out of town. You can usually find me with my phone taking pictures because I value documenting all of life’s precious moments. I look forward to meeting and servicing all of your insurance needs!

Hello, I am Stephanie Hunter, Associate Agent & Office Manager in Belton. I have been with the Rowland Insurance agency for over 20 years! During this time, I have had the honor to be named the Producer of the Year in Life Insurance 7 times. When you believe in something so strongly, it’s easy to help others with it. My main goal, for myself and the agency, is for each person that walks through the door to feel and be treated like family! Small Town Agency with a Big Heart!!
I have been married to my husband, John, a USMC Veteran, for 27 years. We have been blessed with two amazing children, Chip and Rebecca. They have both grown up in our amazing Belton Community and are now giving back. Chip is in college majoring in Secondary Education at Liberty University while being a substitute teacher and the Asst. Football Coach for Belton Middle School. Rebecca is an after school teacher at a local Educational and Development Center. To say I am proud of both of them is an understatement.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, shopping, along with being a Mary Kay and Pampered Chef Consultant.

My name is Karen Burton Culbertson, and I am a customer service representative at the Belton Branch. I have been with the Renea Rowland Agency since 2012, and look forward to many more to come. I was born and raised in Belton, SC and I am a BHP graduate. I currently live in Honea Path with my husband, James, and our two dogs and three cats. In my spare time, I enjoy being an active member of the Belton gun club, volunteering at the American Legion in Belton, and taking care of my dogs, cats, and chickens.

My name is Stephanie Lingerfelt. I am a P&C and Life licensed agent. I have worked for the Renea Rowland Agency for 16 years. I specialize in Business and Farm Insurance. I am originally from Texas and I now live in Anderson, SC with my husband, two daughters, and three dogs.
My name is Terri Hogarth. I was hired by the Renea S. Rowland Insurance Agency as a Customer Service Representative in February of 2020. In March of 2021, I became a multi-line Licensed Agent. I am originally from Canada and have been living in Cross Hill for over 25 years with my husband and 3 children. We have one son who works in Laurens, one son in the Army, stationed in Germany and one daughter and son-in-law in the marines, currenlty in Jacksonville, NC. We just welcomed our first grandson, Ryder to the family in July. We are now empty nesters with one dog and four cats. In our free time we enjoy going to car shows and the drive-in movies. I also enjoy crafting and reading.

In 2018, I took a step with faith and obtained my insurance license. I started out with Life/ Health insurance and noticed that I was still missing a piece to my puzzle so I then studied for my P&C! Now I can sell you any insurance you may be in the market for. Not only do I enjoy my job I enjoy explaining what insurance really means to my customers and really anyone that will listen. I want you to understand what you are paying for and know how to use it as well.
